FAQ

Junior Achievement is an educational, volunteer-driven, non-profit organization created in 1919. JA's mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy by embracing Junior Achievement's core values:
  • Belief in the boundless potential of young people
  • Commitment to the principles of market-based economics and entrepreneurship
  • Honesty, integrity, and excellence
  • Respect for all individuals
  • Belief in the power of partnership and collaboration
  • Conviction in the impact of relevant, hands-on learning
Locally, Junior Achievement of Sacramento has been preparing students for success since 1961.

The main value to a Company becoming involved with Junior Achievement of Sacramento will be that you are part of the solution; and you are helping our future workforce to become dedicated, intelligent employees who will maintain our region's economy.

Providing youth with positive adult role models who illustrate ways to build self-confidence and find avenues of success in our free enterprise system, is the hallmark of Junior Achievement.

"The concepts are exactly aligned
to the California State Standards
-- we have to cover these and JA does."  Local Teacher
